Eid Meelad-un-Nabi not for any particular religion; it is a celebration for all humanity- Syed Muhammad Ashraf at Alwar, Rajasthan

Islam is the religion of compassion, forgiveness, forbearance and well-being of all humanity. Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) is the prophet for all people, all human beings! Therefore, Eid-Miladunnabi should not be seen in connection with any religion. It is a happy occasion for all humanity. Sufiya-e-Kiram spread the commonsense of religion; mutual tolerance, love for all and hatred for none. This is the reason that in their life and teachings, any sign of hatred cannot be seen anywhere.

In reality, with the bright teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his mystically inclined companions, the environment of hatred and terror can be eliminated from the global society.

These ideas were expressed by the founder-president of All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board, Maulana Sayyed Mohammad Ashraf Kichauchavi. He was addressing a public conference on the occasion of  Eid Meelad-un-Nabi held in Alwar, Rajasthan.
