While addressing a public religious gathering in Urai, Founder and President of the All India Ulema and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB) Syed Mohammad Ashraf Kichhouchhwi said: “Be human not a tool of hatred”.
He relayed that Allah’s Apostle (Peace be upon him) said that the best among the people is the one who benefits others.
“Remarkably, the holy Prophet didn’t tell us to consider a person’s religion, creed or caste before helping him. We must become those who benefit one and all.”
He further said, however hard an oppressor might try to affiliate himself to any religion, he remains an oppressor.
He said it is disturbing to see people becoming weapons of hatred.
We are against oppression and everybody must stand against the oppressor as every religion teaches this only.
Condemning the attacks on Kashmiri youth, Syed Ashraf Kichchauchchwi said: “Kashmir is a part of India and Kashmiris are as good citizens of this country as others are. Everyone has a right to live peacefully in this country.”
He said the kind of mindset being nurtured at the moment wherein a human being is killed and the people around him just act as silent spectators is dangerous. Not only this, some people even make videos of this. It’s a crime to be a silent onlooker in times of oppression.
