Congratulates Mushtaq Chaya for getting lifetime achievement award
Srinagar, Dec 8: Chairman Foundation for Resource Development and Education (FRDE) and BJP leader Khalid Jehangir has thanked Union Minister for State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha for showing keen interest to develop aviation sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sinha who attended the “Ideas Summit 2017” organized by FRDE in Srinagar on Thursday assured the stakeholders that Srinagar airport would soon get night landing facility and Srinagar would get pilot training institute.
After attending the summit Jayant Sinha wrote on twitter: “Three new airports will come up in J&K. Additional night landing facility at Srinagar International Airport to open up avenues for Dubai and Kuala Lumpur direct flights along with domestic flights to all major metropolitan cities. Cargo facilities will be upgraded as per demands.”
In a statement, Jehangir said, “Three new airports in J&K, night landing facility at Srinagar airport and direct international flights to Srinagar would boost the tourism sector in the Valley and would bring Kashmir closer to rest of the country.”
He said, “To have night landing facility at Srinagar airport has been a long pending demands of the stakeholders and it would be met soon.”
Jehangir also congratulated the prominent businessman Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya for getting life time achievement award.
He also congratulated Wasim Tramboo, Umar Tramboo, Asif Burza, Saddam Zaroo and Ifshan Khanday and others for getting business achiever awards.
He said, “Kashmiri businessmen deserve all the accolades for working in tough times and keeping the industries alive in the Valley despite all the odds being against them.” (KNS)
