It were mutazalites who thrived first to grab the attention of yearning masses by the embodiment of Islam as ‘human-centric religion’. Mutazalites, the rationalists in Islam, strived to transform the explicit and implicit statutes of Islam by representing the religion with their circumscribed and hampered brain. They engaged in culminating Islam to the core, as the way they culled to portray Islam was fraudulent. In fact, they misinterpreted the holy religion. Following them, so many new ideologies and authorities had born and bred in every nook and corners of the world. ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ was one among them which was entrenched in 1928 by the hands of Hasanul Banna, in Egypt. The modern concocted leaders, who sound in the identity of Islam like Sayyid Quthub and Muhammed Quthub, epitomize the so called rationalism now, neglecting the absolute God centric theory of Islam, by transplanting it by the curbed human centric theory. The Enlightenment in Europe which was carried out by several populat figures like  Francis BaconRené DescartesJohn Locke and Baruch Spinoza, Cesare BeccariaVoltaireDenis DiderotAdam Smith and Immanuel Kant  also paved a splendid way to reach in a conclusion to these like pseudo theories. As a case in point, Sayyid Quthub quotes in his master piece book, ‘fi dilalil quran”, by misinterpreting the 44th verse of Quran in surah al maaeda, that,”any ruler who judges himself is belonged to infidelity “, putting forward his theory ‘Hakimiyyath’.Since he acts as an well wisher of human centric representation of Islam, there are ample examples of distortion of holy verses of Quran similar to these. It was during 90s Kerala also came across to witness this so called Muslim renaissance by the establishment of ‘Muslim Aikya sangham’ by Vakkam Abdul Qadar Moulavi. His proselyts, the bidaee groups on Kerala altercate for being the begginers of Muslim Renaissance in Kerala, popular south, it is a pellucid paradox that how cans a society which is completely ousted from Islamic statutes and laws represent the Muslim renaissance?

So, here the question arises, who were the real pioneers of Muslim Renaissance in popular south? It the ulama were the de facto leaders of Muslim Renaissance in Kerala who approached the modern world by juxtaposing the transmitted knowledge with the modern concepts. By this approach, they could affranchise Islamic ideologies from the forged dealings in Islam which was done by the modern fraudulent Islamic philosophers.  The ulama, who have the absolute treasure, the transmitted knowledge, engaged in socio cultural dealings rather than rationalists did in the same encircles. The ulama engaged in public spheres as well as inside the masjids they did. It was a profound movement which led to the transformation of the society.’ Meir Hatina’ clearly scribes this fact through his book,’Ulama, politics and public sphere’. Muhammed Qasim Zaman also goes halves to the same point through his book,’Ulama in contemporary Islam: Custodian of change’.

The ulama are the divine authority, who stood for the rejuvenation of Muslim minds to the hilt by emancipating them from the hatred circumference of modern concocted Islamic philosophies to the core of virgin principles and statutes of Islam with the interrogation against the ascending allegations on Islam and its vast vistas. Along with that, Ulama made those philosophies compliance by their fruitful intervention on those rigged philosophies. It was an herculean task to interpret the modernity with tradition as ulama did without nodding to an absolute tradition and to the absolute modernity.
