“Peace in the world is only possible by acting on noble teachings of the Prophet of Peace (SAW). Peace activists need to focus on the pluralistic teachings of the Prophet of Peace (Salallahu alaihi wasallam)”.
This was stated by founder & president of All India Ulema & Mashaikh Board “Syed Asharaf Mia Kachochwi” who came to Kolkotta to participate in an Islamic conference.
Quoting from the Hadith of the holy Prophet, he said: “If your neighbour is not safe from your harm, you can not reach the degree of being a “Mo’min”. PEACE in the world will eventually be established, if the entire world acted upon this saying of the Prophet.
A Mohalla (locality) is a neighbour to another Mohalla, a village to another village, a city to another city, a state to another state and a country to another country. In this way, the entire world represents many neighbourhoods. If we abide by the above-mentioned humane tradition of the Prophet, we wouod neither require armies, nor security forces or weapons and dollars that the countries spend to establish peace and security, he said.
