Indian Muslims Awareness Movement (IMAM) Meet in Bihar to ensure secular votes are not divided

In the capital of Bihar, which will soon see elections, the newly formed Indian Muslims Awareness Movement (IMAM) organisation, an appeal was made to all secular parties and leaders to ensure that secular votes are not forced to be divided among them.

n a day long meeting held by the newly-established organization, Indian Muslims Awareness Movement (IMAM) in the capital of Bihar, which is going to see polls soon, an appeal was made to all the secular parties and thier leaders to ensure that secular votes are not forced to be divided among them.

The Bihar state committee meeting was held with Secretary of the organization Jahangir W Adil Adil in chair and was attended by General secretary Advocate Younus Mohani (Lucknow) as representative of the central leadership.

Founder and president of IMAM, Ashhar Hashimi kept in regular touch with the day long development on phone.The participants included Prof Nayeb Ali,(Bihar Sharif ) Md Aurangzeb Arman, Riyaz Aatish (Patna ), Umair Khan @ Tekka Khan ( Gaya ) Aurangzeb Khan (Gaya), Sohrab Khan (Sherghati), Nawab Atiquzzaman (Patna) and others.

Some supporters of the cause who later joined the meet included: Mohammad Shakil ( Patna ), Umar Ashraf ( Siwan) and Tauqeer Raza ( Monghyr).

After the meeting, the IMAM’s members carried out consultations with chief clerics, community leaders and state politicians to seek more clarity required to reach an informed decision.
