Jamiat distributes 25000 K.G dates among Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh

New Delhi, May 13, 2019

During the holy month of Ramazan, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind distributed 25000 K.G dates among displaced Rohingya Muslims encamped in  Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh.

At the initiative of Jamiat Ulama U.K Limited (United Kingdom), dates have been procured from the holy city of Medina and consigned to the Bangladesh for distribution. 5000 boxes containing dates have been distributed under the supervision of Maulana Mahmood Madani General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind among the concerned community.

Maulana Madani‘s Jamiat has been actively working for the rehabilitation of 10 lakh Rohingya Muslims forced to live in Bangladesh. Over there, the Jamiat has installed 1358 makeshift houses, schools, madrasa and mosques costing INR 8 crores. Maulana Madani always feels concerned about hapless Rohingya Muslims. Earlier this month, Jamiat has also distributed Ramazan kits among Rohingyas living in Delhi and Mathura too.
