๐—•๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜†๐—ฎ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ ๐——๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฎ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ฑ (Indian Parliament of All Religions) organised the ๐—™๐—ถ๐—ณ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต ๐—”๐—ป๐—ป๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—œ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ-๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜ titled as the “15th National Interfaith Conference” in New Delhi on 25th April 2023 on the theme of “Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and its relevance among the present generation”.

The President of Bhartiya Sarv Dharam Sansad Shri Swami Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj along with all senior members of BSDS also announced the 1st International World Parliament of Religions to be held in India as part of the ongoing G20 Presidency of India.

Mohanji was invited as the ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—š๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ who spoke on the theme: “๐—œ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ถ ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎโ€™๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€”.

This year marked Mohanjiโ€™s first participation in this event. Mohanji often says โ€œthe ocean is one, but various rivers are required to provide the right routes for people of various frequencies and inclinationsโ€. In that vein, this event promised to provide a rich perspective on the unifying aspects across all faiths, while respecting the diversity inherent in them.

Major Faith Spiritual Leaders were present as Swami Vivek Muni ji Maharaj ji from Jain Ashram Global Peace Foundation, Spiritual Thinker Shri Mohan Ji – President Global MohanJi Foundation Padam Bhushan Shri Sadhguru ji from Goa Ashram, Haji Syed Salman Chishty Gaddi Nashin, Ajmer Dargah Sharif, Chairman – Chishty Foundation, Rev Bishop of Agra, Swami Brahmananda ji of Arya Samaj, Paramjit Singh Chandok ji from Sikh Community, Bhikkhu Sanghasena ji from Bhuddist community, Lama Yeshi ji Representatives of HH Dalai Lama, Rabbi Malekar Azkel from Jewish community, Dr Binny Sareen from Brahmakumari Headquarter, Veer Singh Hitkari ji – Head, Ravidas Sant Samaj, Father M.D. Thomas – Delhi Christian Community, Acharya Ram Pravesh Puri ji Maharaj – Purohit Kamaksha Mandir, Assam along with many other distinguished Spiritual and Religious Leaders.

The International World Parliament of Religions, which is set to take place following the National Interfaith Conference, is expected to attract prominent religious leaders and scholars from around the world. The Parliament’s aim is to promote interfaith dialogue, cooperation, and understanding, as well as to address critical issues facing humanity. The Parliament conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, cultural programs, and workshops aimed at fostering interfaith dialogue, building peace, and promoting religious harmony.

The mission of the Parliament of Religions is to cultivate harmony among the world’s religious and spiritual communities and foster their engagement with the world to achieve a just, peaceful, and sustainable future for all. The upcoming Parliament in New Delhi, India will mark the 1st such gathering since the inaugural World Parliament, which took place in Chicago in 1893. Since then, the Parliament has become a key platform for interfaith communication and engagement. The theme of the upcoming Parliament in New Delhi is “Opening Hearts to Cultivate a Culture of Compassion, Peace, and Justice”. The event will feature multiple sessions on topics such as climate change, poverty, peacekeeping, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and learn from leaders and scholars of various religions and spiritual traditions, as well as to participate in workshops, exhibits, and artistic performances.

The previous Parliament, which was held in Toronto in 2018, attracted over 7,500 people from 80 different countries. The upcoming Parliament in New Delhi is expected to be even bigger, with more participants and a broader scope of topics. The Parliament of Religions serves as a platform for the world’s religious and spiritual communities to come together and work towards a better world. It seeks to promote interfaith harmony, respect for diversity, and dialogue that leads to action on common global issues. The Parliament is an important forum for discussing ways in which religious and spiritual communities can be involved in solving global problems, such as climate change, poverty, and social injustice. It also serves as a platform for networking, education and leadership development for participants.

The upcoming Parliament in New Delhi is an opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of different religious and spiritual traditions, learn about the role of religion in society and engage in meaningful dialogue and cooperation with people from different backgrounds. The Parliament aims to foster relationships of trust and mutual respect between people of different faiths and backgrounds. It is a unique opportunity for participants to come together to explore how their spiritual and religious teachings can be put into action to promote social justice, peace and sustainability in the world. The Parliament is an important event that contributes to the collective effort to build a better world for all.
